Sharing make up - PANIC!

I'm doing a musical right now and i forgot to bring my lip brush tonight so the make up people used the one they had. I have no idea how many people used it before me and it's winter in australia so everyone's got a cold and i keep freaking out that someone may have had something and now i've had the lipstick on all night. i wanted to take it off so badly but i would have been so busted! Help me!!

Congrats on being in a musical! I did lots of those in high school, so I have to ask which one?!

Also being in shows, I have shared many make up tools. I never got ill from it. Think of it like this, who would keep an icky make up tool, especially used on the lips, if it was used on a person who had a gross bug? Colds are common, but I doubt anyone would reuse a make up tool that had been used on the lips of somebody with a stomach issue!
