So so scared about surgery tomorrow

Tomorrow I am having a bilateral ethmoidectomy...aka sinus surgery. I know I have done the stupid thing and read all the horror stories about anesthesia and sinus surgery and how nauseated people get and quite frankly I'm scared shitless. My surgery isn't till 3pm (west coast time) and while they said I can eat or drink up until 5 am I'm stopping at midnight. Just to be extra cautious. Please help calm my fears. I have already made it clear I want anti emetics during surgery and after but I'm still scared, really scared and we will be driving home during rush hour traffic and it's like a 30 minute drive ughhhhh I'm scared I wanna cry and say forget it I'll suffer. Please help me rationalize my thoughts....

Good luck today! You will be find! I had sinus surgery too and requested an anti emetic and didn't get s* after. I was just exhausted and in some pain but that's it! Let us know how it goes!

I didn't see your post until now, so hope it went ok. I wish I had have done because I had emergency surgery last November and so hadn't even fasted beforehand and I was fine with anti-emetics etc. xx
