OT: weight loss
Alright, so in regards to weight loss, the general consensus appears to be there is no quick fix. One must maintain a healthy lifestyle (take notice I did not say diet lol) and incorporate adequate exercise at least several times per week in order to shed those pounds. Now, I've got the exercise down. I go biking, walking (roughly 2 miles per day) and I dance regularly which is great cardio. I'm doin' fine in regards to exercise, but healthy eating? Not so much. I'm looking to lose 10-15 pounds. I'm 5 ft tall and about 115 lbs. I've always had such a hard time when it comes to losing weight, but I'm determined to shed at least 10 lbs. I've done the research. Taking my short stature into consideration, 100-105 lbs is still a healthy weight. Unfortunately, I lack the means and skills to be able to cook for myself. Therefore, my meal choices are a little limited. I love food too much. I go out to eat all the time because it's quick and relatively cheap as I have a busy schedule. My boyfriend and I are going grocery shopping tomorrow afternoon to buy fruits and vegetables, etc. I'm going to eliminate all processed foods and food additives so that means no frozen dinners, canned items, etc. Oh, and one very important thing: absolutely NO caffeine. I drink way too much caffeinated beverages and it needs to stop. Not only do I constantly feel and look bloated, but I also recognize other adverse side effects and let me tell you, there are a plethora of them. That means drinking lots and lots of water. I do want to maintain this. I'm not looking for a cleanse or a 'quick fix' but I do want to lose weight. Wish me luck!
Anyways, anyone feel free to give me advice and tips as I'm in need of them! Thank you!

I wanna feel the change consume me,
Feel the outside turning in.
I wanna feel the metamorphosis and
Cleansing I've endured within
My shadow
