Question Anyone else get this? (period thing)

So I have ridiculously painful periods. Like, I have stomach pain, head pain, back pain, pain in my hips and upper legs and just general aches But for the last 2 months, at the beginning of each period I've also had diarrhoea and have had no appetite at at all mealtimes. So, being emetophobic, of course I immediately assume I'm sick. So, I usually go and sit on the loo and calm myself down, and then I go and try to eat one mouthful of something, and then SUDDENLY I'm starving and can't stop eating and it's all fine again.

But yeah, just interested to know whether or not I was the only one? And does anyone know what causes it? Because, for the days leading up to my periods I eat non-stop, but it's like as soon as it comes I'm just like 'uh...no thanks.' Weird.

I do that too. You're not alone and I freak out every single time. I do the exact same thing to you and just think to myself I wish it would just hurry and go on. I hate that panic of ... food?..yuck and to panic of thinking im going to.....yeah.

I'm sorry for you all who have this terrible pain during the period.
I barely don't have any pain. I never take medication for pain like my friends take.
One of my friends is n* etc.
One friend told me she spent 3 days a month for 3 months v* last summer. But before and after she didn't have that kind of simptoms.
    But that's not so common.
    I hope you won't v*

Yeah, it really sucks sometimes! It's not really like I'm nauseous (well, no more than usual) just that I don't really want to eat, which is somewhat out of character. So that sets of the anxiety that I might have a sv or something, and coupled with the d* it's not good for my brain.

Although, I found out recently that the same hormone that makes your uterus contract also has the same effect on your bowels explaining the d*.

Yep, I experience these symptoms often before my periods. It's likely caused by production of the hormone progesterone. I find pepto bismol helpful in providing relief.
