    Default Rotten carrots

As I was eating some (heated up) frozen egg rolls, one of the strands of carrot fell out. Most of it was healthy, but the edge was brown and stringy.

I didn't eat that part, but ate the other carrots (without seeing them) inside the egg rolls. Are bad carrots dangerous?

Should I be worried at all?

It was sort of green too. The texture was the most disconcerting part - imagine like a pulled pork type feel, only slimier and skinner.
