The way I'm terrified of people throwing up, I would rather myself get sick than seeing or hearing someone else getting sick. I'm not afraid of myself getting sick, I don't know why. I just get bothered like crazy when I have to witness it.

I think that's a better way to be than being terrified of being sick yourself! I can cope with animals being sick and seeing it on TV but not people and definately not myself - this curse affects people in many different ways, I don'y know why....

    I can sort of relate...

Even though the last thing id want is for myself to get sick, when someone in my family, or my friends say they feel sick, I sometimes feel like I'd rather i was the one feeling ill because i feel like im more likely to be able to "control" it and "prevent" sickness from occuring. Non-emets, obviously do not carry out the prevention methods that emets do, so i worry that they wont fight it like i would be able to.

Anyone else feel like this? It doesnt even make sense really but jus thought id add my piece.

yes - i dont trust other people and the wy they look or describe how they feel. altho the people i do know tend to over exagerate their feelings of sickness - so now i just take no notice of them!
