Could I have been exposed?

Hi all, I just went to the toilet at work and our loos are like individual bathrooms, not cubicles. Anyway, I went into the bathroom, locked the door and was already using the loo, so to speak, when I started to smell v* really badly, obviously it was coming out of the loo. Do you think someone could have just been in there before me and v*? Do you think if that happened that I could have been exposed? I feel really ill now, just thinking about it, I think I might go outside and take a few deep breaths to try and clear out any nasties, just in case I breathed anything in... God, I'm freaking out right now!

You will be fine. Think about it a second. You don't even know for sure what you smelled. You didn't see anything. You were not there when it happened if it did indeed happen. Immagine how many times we've probably used bathrooms after someone was sick in them and didn't even think twice about it because we didn't smell anything. You will be okay. You aren't doing yourself any favors by worrying.

When I lived at home my mum and sister picked up stomach bugs at least once a year and for as long as I have been an emet I have never caught a bug that made me sick after using the toilet that they v*ed in. you werent exposed it may have been something else you smelled...
and, if yorue feeling sick now - you couldnt have caught something

oh, and if you washed your hands after going to the bathroom, you have NOTHING to worry about

Yeah, you're all right, I was fine, I have had a bit of a jippy stomach this week and a headache, but I don't think it's related to that.. you know what it's like though when you start to worry?? Thanks anyway for the comforting words.
