I haven't been on here for a while so thought i'd check in again and let you all know the reason I think I possibly haven't needed to pay this site a visit...
I'll post the link for what I'm about to mention in the treatments section also, but wanted to post on here as well.
About 2 months ago I got so low with my emetophobia after my mum and then dad both caught a SV. I spent pretty much a whole week cooped up in my room, only eating food prepared by myself, cleaning everything with anti bacterial spray/wipes and washing my hands far too much. I was irritable and fed up and only left the house to go to work which I'm very surprised I managed to do. Anyway, I managed to avoid getting the dreaded SV, which then made its way round my work! But it left me feeling so low and determined to try anything to see if I could relieve myself of just some of my anxiety at least. I've already had CBT and years ago had some hypnotherapy. Neither of which did much. I enjoyed my CBT sessions and felt they helped a bit, but I could of done with a lot more. So I decided to just browse around the internet and came across this...

I'm sure a lot of you may of heard of him or stumbled across this yourself at some point.
Anyway, as I said, I was just desperate to try anything. I read a review and just went for it and i'm so so pleased I did. I really can't say for sure that its definitely this that's helped, but somethings changed and its been since I started listening to this. I've been putting it on to go to sleep to most nights and have never even made it to the end because I fall asleep everytime. I know that the subconcious still takes stuff in though and I can only assume it has been, as ive noticed a massive improvement. I can honestly say i've hardly had to think about my emetophobia. I've recently got a new boyfriend and was worrying so much as I hate having to explain all of this. I did however tell him and he was completely understanding and said to only do things i'd be comfortable with, like going to his house for example, which I would normally find a real struggle. However, after listening to this for just a few nights, I already felt less nervous in my everyday life. I ended up staying over his much sooner than I thought i'd be able to and didn't worry about being sick once. I still worried, but only because of my ibs which I can honestly say is the only thing I am worrying about these days.
Seriously, just consider getting this. Best £15 i've spent in a long time. I find his voice a little annoying, but clearly its not bothered me that much! I guess the best thing is to just be open minded as well, which I really have been. I'll keep you all updated on how i'm doing a bit more often, as im really hoping things might be looking up a bit regarding my emet! So really, just take a look and think about it. Make sure if you do get it though to try and listen to it at least once a day, thats what ive been doing and also what they suggest i think.
