Well hey all, havent spoke to you lately!! </span><br style="font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
So much has happened in the last week. </span><br style="font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
This
will probably be a short post because my hands are sticky. We're in a
heat wave all of a sudden. With the humidex or whatever that is, its
over 35c. WOAH! </span><br style="font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
So I'm
going to take you through my week, starting with last Tuesday, I think
it was the 31st? Well. That was one of a kind day! It was the day
before a huge grade 8 trip that I will get to later. Anyway, before
Tuesday I was selected as a grade 8 Public Speaking Representive out of
the grade!! Major accomplishment for me. Anywho, so Tuesday I had to do
my speech along with 24 other contestants in front of 3 schools and
some judges. I've never 'specialized' in public speaking and have
bordered on stage fright. But..I guess speeches on Pompeii do get you
places </span> I pleaced 2nd overall. </span><br style="font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
Then
Wednesday..yikes. That's the day we embarked on our 2 night 3 day trip
to Ottawa, I didnt have time to post a lot about it! It included an
Imax movie which I'm scared of, Boat Cruise up/down the canal, which
I'm scared of and never been on a boat, and a 6 hr car ride (car
sickness..what if!) But I went, and after 2 nights at the Holiday Inn
and lotsa car riding and finding a new love for boats, it went GOOD! We
were constantly going places (ie museums) and there was only 1 v*
occasion. At the restruant the 2nd day for dinner. One of my guy
friends threw up..I didnt see/hear him do it, just all of a sudden I
heard "MORGAN THREW UP IN HIS CUP! IT LOOKED LIKE THE INSIDE OF A
CHICKEN POT PIE!" Luckily I was sitting with 3 friends who know about
my emet, and so they immediatly told me to take a gravol, stare at them
and not think about it. They destracted me and then asked the teacher
if we could leave for the market we were in early. Thank god we could,
they sat down with me in the shade and we listened to a man playing a
gutair for dollars. I requested a happy song and after that with the
help of my friends was okay, and able to enjoy the rest of the trip. I
am sincerly happy I went and enjoyed every minute of it. I will be
possibly posting pics soon, and I hope ya'll are doing okay. </span><br style="font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">
