    Feel the outside turning in.
I wanna feel the metamorphosis and

You seemed so sure when you decided to quit your job so Id say stick to your gut instincts. You knew it wasnt going to be easy to adjust to the changes you made but just try & concentrate on the future you've planned for yourself.

I understand how tough things have been for you lately, between worrying about letting your friends down over the house & giving up your job & the stress of not getting on with your parents but things will get better. Going back to school could be just the thing you need to boost your confidence & also meet a whole new group of like minded people.

Dont give up - it'll be worth it in the end.

As for losing your hair this could be down to stress or even hormonal. Quite a few years ago my hair started to fall out much more than usual. In the end I mentioned it to my dr who just laughed & said there was no need to worry & that I was just noticing it cos my hair was longer than previously. Even to this day I seem to lose a lot more hair than anyone else I know! Just brusing it gently can lead to a lot of hair loss. My hair is definitely finer than it used to be but I dont worry anymore, Ive come to the conclusion that as this has been going on for a number of years then Im not going to go bald anytime soon (fingers crossed)

I am glad you did not get a house with these friends, because they sound like "Fair weather" friends. Meaning, they are great to have as friends so long as everything is going good. If you had stayed dancing and gotten that house, then lost your job, they sound like they would not have helped out. You seriously DODGED A BULLET! Your consious should be clean. You were upfront with your friends, you explained the situation. They just didn't like it, and tough tits to them. These "friends" would rather you stay in a job that makes you miserable so they could all afford a house? Honestly, does that sound like a good friend to you? Yes, there are people you can have a "blast" with when you hang out with, but if there isn't a party going on, you can't rely on them. These are not friends... I call these people my party buddies. If you were to split a house with people, it should be with people that will help each other out and deal with eiach others ups and downs. Its like being in a family.

I have TONS of "party buddies", but I only have about 5 - 6 people who are true friends! They would never want me to be miserable just to benefit them. They would do whatever it took to help me to be happy.
So, please, stop feeling guilty, it ssounds like you were more of a friend to them than they were to you!

Secondly, good luck with cosmo school. I am a licensed cosmotologist, although I dont do it anymore.

Third, your hair is falling out from stress. That is very common! Ive gone through periods with bald spots, and it was all stress related.

Thank you. I know you are right and I should not have any desire to associate with those kinds of people. I have very few friends like that unfortunately Three including my boyfriend. Just stuck in a rut I guess. I am excited for school but I am certain I will be a nervous wreck when comes the time to start practicing on mannequins and then later on, real humans lol. May I ask why you no longer do it?
I still cut people's hair that I know, but ultimately I stopped doing it when I had to have knee surgery. I just couldn't stand around on it for hours and hours, so I went and got education and training on something that didnt require me to stand on my feet for hours at a time since my other knee is terrible (both knees and my ankles have problems, its some sort of birth defect where the tendons are weak and tear)

I'm so sorry to hear about that. The owner of the salon that I frequent had to have a hip replacement due to the stress of standing for many hours every day. All of the cartilage wore down to the point where it was just bone on bone. I did not really take that into consideration. I have relatively bad back problems but that bothers me whether I am standing or sitting lol

Just so you know, intense stress will cause hair loss and it can happen a few months after the traumatizing event (or within weeks). And it can last for a while before it tapers off again, but it will grow back in time. It happened to me after very rough times in an abusive relationship, I could pull out handfuls of hair and it really freaked me out. But it grows back again after a while, so hang in there and it'll get better.

Man I hate seeing that you are having problems. I know how you feel bout the hair thing. My hair is slowly but surely thinning and falling out too. I blame it on genetics and birth control. Try not to be so hard on yourself. Good for you for persuing a new career path. Sometimes change in your life is a good thing. As for the girls who have back stabbed you my motto with that kind of thing is fuck it. If you are not good enough, etc for em you don't need em. Be the better person an believe in yourself. Things will get better for you. We are always here to listen so feel free to vent away. Hugs to you...you seem to need one right now
