    Default I'm back... *sigh*

So...this is my first proper visit to the site since the beginning of the year... I was going to try as hard as I could to avoid coming back (I must just stress that this is ONLY because I'm trying to combat the emet; I spoke to some amazing people over the winter months last year and they were a huge, huge help) but it seems I'm back where I was before. The only saving grace, if you can call it that, is my partner leaving me so I now live alone and therefore can control the cleanliness levels in my place! Ha.
I hope you're all alright today, anyway - it's good to be back...kinda...

I just saw your post on another thread, and I blame the daily mail entirely for both of our returns! My first day back too, what a sad occasion, though probably for the best if I wanna get through the winter. Welcome back!

Haha, yeah that's probably wise! That said, I don't think there're many (if any) noro articles listed on the homepage at the moment. I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to that website - I actually search for noro in the search bar WHYYY?!!! It's like I know I won't like what I find...but I'm still clinging on to a tiny bit of hope that there won't be any articles this winter. Silly, really...

Those articles kicked off my anxiety big time as well. I used to get really bad starting from October time. But I was alright really, going out and eating lunch as usual with my Grandad, until I read those articles. I saw them and I HAD to read them. It was like something else was taking over my body. And then i HAD to read the comments as well. And all the people there had had it, and made it sound so violent and horrific. And since then I've been a bit of a mess. Had lunch out yesterday and counting down the hours...

It's weird, isn't it...feeling compelled, almost obsessively so, to read something you know will only make you worse. It sucks
