    Default Therapist In Los Angeles

Hello All! Happy Holidays! I'm new to this website. Just a little background info....I'm a fellow emetophobe. Been this way since I was about 5 or 6 (my whole life). I'm now 25 yrs old. Life has been challenging...to say the least. Not a day goes by when I don't think about throwing up, coming in contact with someone sick, touching something that's been "infected", wondering if the person sitting next to me at the movie theater is/was sick, wondering why someone looks pale, etc. I'm pretty much confined to the home....and even there, I don't feel safe (you never know when a family member will get sick). I can't really work. I've never been in a relationship. Life is just slipping through my fingers and I'm not doing anything about it. I need help. Can anyone recommend a good therapist in the LA area? What has helped/worked for you? Appreciate all the help!

I have a good therapist, I moved to LA a few months ago and needed to find someone. I really like him, but you have to be motivated in order to succeed with him. He does CBT therapy, so there is a lot of work involved and you have to be committed to getting better. There is some homework to do. The therapy is not always easy, but so far I have seen a big difference in myself and I think if I continue to work with him and with CBT I can probably get a lot better He is in the Woodland Hills area right off the 101. If you would like his name please private message me!
PM me for contact info such as skype, email, or facebook. Thanks!

Hey darlin! Thank you for responding to the post. Unfortunately, I can't PM you because I have less than 10 posts. If you can send me an email with the therapist's contact information that would be great. Thank you so much for your help!

I live in the Orange County area and I have a great therapist if you're interested and it isn't too far. She does Emotional Transformation Therapy, works great for creative types.
