    Default frozen pizza.

    Hey everyone, quick question...

I bought a Kashi frozen pizza last week and my roommate and I both had to go to class right after we got back from food shopping, so we quickly put all of the fridge foods away and left. When I came back from class a little over an hour later, I saw that we forgot to put the pizza in the freezer. Is it still OK if it's been out of the freezer for that amount of time? I put it in the freezer right when I got back from class, but could anything happen to it in that time in room temperature?

Thanks. I really wanna eat it, but I don't wanna have a freak out later..

If it has been less than four hours since you took it from the freezer in the store until the time you put it in your own freezer, it will be fine. Especially if you cook it in the over thoroughly.

Well, they usually write on the boxes of frozen food not to thaw and refreeze... I wouldn't chance it. Even my parents who aren't emet and not too picky (my dad will just remove mold from pieces of bread and eat the rest) don't eat thawed and refrozen foods. It's probably safe, but probably not worth making yourself sick with worry over it.

Just dont bother with it. Its only and pizza and not worth all the worry that it'll cause. At the end of the day, go buy amother and save yourself the trouble. The four hour rule is a good one to remember for chilled foods. Only if it has been done once. Never leave it out for a substatial length of time after the first time. hope this helps.

    Other side :0)
