I am really tired of this. I don't know if it is the prenatal vitamins or what. I took it a little early last night, about an hour before I went to bed and I did feel a little n*, but not bad. But this morning I am having horrible IBS problems. I am really gassy and have been to the bathroom a bunch of times already. It's not d*, but getting close. I am kind of n*, bt I also feel kind of hungry. I tried eating a little, and it made the cramping worse (typical IBS), but I still feel like I need to eat.

I don't know what to do anymore! I am going to call the doctor today and ask about the vitamins, but since it isn't happening everyday and it's not consistent I don't really think it's the vitamins. The saga with my in-laws keeps getting worse, so maybe I am more stressed than I think I am?

I just needed to vent. I feel out of control with this. I don't know how to feel better. I have backaches all the time now (most likely from constipation) but I go from one extreme to the other. Any suggestions?

If you've felt this way before, and you never vomited, that should be reassuring in itself. Personally, I've never heard of vitamins making somebody sick. Then again, I'm basically ignorant on anything parental related. Sorry I couldn't help! Hope you feel better. <3

    first off...relax

secondly-you may have hit the nail on the head with the comment about your in laws, the body can manifest stress in strange ways..you may not be stressed for you, but maybe you feel really bad for your husbands stress and emotions he's dealing with

also your seriously entertaining and preparing yourself for pregnancy, the idea of that alone is enough to make me crap right now

slow down...eat a good meal(tummy friendly food) and do something nice with your hubby if possible

    big hugs

Sillygirl, I'm so sorry youre feeling yucky again! Try going on a bland diet. When my IBS gets out of controll, I start back with the basics and go from there.

I'm tryin gto eat lunch now because my stomach has been growling like crazy. But about 5-10 minutes after I started eating, I started feeling awful again. I am kind of n* now and I feel like I need to go to the bathroom again. This really sucks. I have been sufferning from this for so long that I know what my trigger foods are. I have been trying to avoid them. Right now I am just eating some noodles with peas, carrots and cream of chicken soup and a yogurt. I got about halfway through both but I don't really want to eat anymore. I'm scared of what might happen.

I have also had some sharp pains in my lower stomach on the right. THe were quick, kind of like a pinch and it only lasted a couple of minutes (on and off, not solid). I would love to have just one full week of feeling 100%. That would be so nice!

I'm sorry you are feeling yucky again. Can't IBS act up even if you're eating right if you are stressed? You are going thru a lot right now. I hope you feel better soon tho, even for soemone who wasn't emet this would get at the very least annoying!

I'm sure the stress of my in laws is getting to me more than I realize. And yes, stress can cause IBS symptoms even if my diet is good.

I am jsut feeling extra awful today. The IBS stuff is there still, but I am n* too. I felt like I was starving earlier so I forced myself to eat lunch. It was hard on my IBS, but the n* did go away for a while. A little while ago I thought I was getting hungry again, but now I just feel n*. I don't know what is wrong with me! I can deal with the IBS stuff, but the n* is starting to get to me. I really hope it goesaway soon!

When I came home from work I was hungry so I had some pizza and then I had to go out and help my mother in law with some stuff. I felt fine during all of that, but just a few minuted ago I started getting these sharp pains again in my stomach. This time they were higher up - right in the center about an inch above my belly button. What could it be? I thought it might be gas, but I don't feel gassy. I've been getting so many pains like this lately. I want to go back on my Protonix, but since I am now off the birth control, you never know when I might get pregnant and I don't want to be on anything that might hurt the baby (as my husband so kindly reminded me ). I will call the doctor on Monday and ask, but what should I do until then? THis has been happening everyday lately and I don't want to suffer all weekend!

Today hasn't been any better! There have been a couple of times when I felt hungry, but as soon as I ate anything I got n*. I had to eat something (so I just had a piece of bread) before I took my vitamin tonight because I didn't want to take it on an empty stomach. I hope I do okay tonight - I am really scared!

Is it possible that you are thinking too hard about it and causing the nausea?

I do that when my sinuses are draining..

Don't be scared. You will be okay. Just remember, you are taking these vitamins for a very good reason. Hope you feel better.
