Well, I was just sitting here a few minutes ago on my computer and all of a sudden, I had one of those nasty tasting (you know...like vomit) burps, I think. I know those are pretty common and they, a lot of the time, do not actually indicate vomiting, but I am still afraid. I am not nauseated and do not feel bad, although, I do have a headache. Is it common to vomit without having nausea first?

    Thanks.

I can'ttalk for every one but i've never v*ed without feeling n* first. Your burp will have just tasted like v* because it came from gas in your stomach as apposed to from trapped air in your throat. Then again i wouldn't know much about that, i'm one of the lucky emets who don't burp. I'm have no idea why i don't i just never have. Strange huh?

Don't worry - I do those all the time (well, not all the time but quite often!) I can honestly say that they've never bought on vomitting and I've never felt ill from doing one. They really don't bother me.

Also I think it's fairly uncommon to vomit when you don't feel sick.

I've had those kind of burps several times in the past. It's weird b/c they have always caught me by surprise. They just come on so sudden. They are gross and everything, but nothing to be scared of. I've never gotten sick from one. I think too that you need to feel sick before you even vomit.

    Heh, interesting point.

I suppose it has to do with it.

Since, well, forever, I have NEVER drank anything carbonated. Not gingerale, coke, sprite, mountain dew, the list goes on. Hate the taste. Maybe that has to do with it?

3 cheers for juice and water!

I can't force a burp-never have aquired that "talent" but I do burp. And no you are not defective, it's normal for you. I'm sure it finds it's way(the gas) out the other end though.poop!Pardon moi!
