Please Help Me!

Hi, I'm freaking out. I just had ham and salad baguettes for my tea, and in the last one I found a little grub thing. I did kinda look through the others to pull out the withered bits of lettuce before I ate them, but not particularly well. What if I accidentally ate a grub? Will it make me ill? Also that shows that my stepmum didn't wash the salad before putting it in the sandwiches, can I get sick from that?

I think you will be fine! i opened a peice of chocolate one time, after having eaten a few other pieces and there was a little something kinda wiggly wormy looking bug in it and I was like you, totally wondering what was in the other pieces! UGH! But I didnt' get sick and neither will you. I think when people get sick from eating bugs it is immediate like from the "eating" it not an after effect. Plus I used to work w/ a guy who taught survival stuff int he military and he was telling me allt he nasty bugs they eat and never mentioned anyoen v*ing. You'll be fine!

I guess the people on I'm A Celebrity get me Out of here (if you get that over there) eat loads of rank bug things and are okay. I'm just worried about the fact that the salad wasn't washed as well now.

I haven't seen that show but I know they eat nasty stuff like that on shows like "fear factor" and stuff. As for it not being washed, it's OK. I ate salad the other day that wasn't washed, It was one of those supposedly "pre washed" deals but I usually wash it, but I didn't make this salad and it didnt' get washed. If you think about it we don't really knwo when we go out to eat if it's washed or not and are fine and I'm sure you will be this time too.

Oh my goodness, although that sounds totally horrifying I am sure you will be ok. Think of all those people on survivor and fear factor...
