    sorry.. re my last post about feeling a lump in my throat.. it's actually gotten worse, i keep having wierd throat noises and it feels like a massive uncomfortable lump in my throat, my stomach has started to feel n* now and im so scared and tired of it...ihas anyone v* from this? like really bad lump in throat, feels like something needs to come up and scared and miserable.. please help

    There's actually something called a globus I think which is a medical term for a lump which forms in your throat when you are overly stressed about things. When my parents divorced when I was nine, I had the same thing myself and I couldn't speak more than a few words at a time for weeks because I thought I was going to V* but it is related to stress and anxiety and it doesn't mean you'll V* as it is anxiety related.

    Ok, so I have been cutting down my meds... do you reckon it could be from that? Plus im flying in a few days and am well worried about it... Thanks so much xxx

    I don't know if cutting down your meds could be to blame unless you're subconciously worried about it but the stress from worrying about flying could definitely be responsible. At least you know it won't be sick from it though [img]smileys/smilies_01.gif[/img]

    matchstix... i used to go through this all of the time. Rest assured it is only the emet in you stressing out, and you are not sick. I hate that feeling! Hang in there!

    Thanks.. I was fine in the end, I went out with some friends then it
    kinda went away.. but i didn't ave an evening meal which i think
    helped, i couldn't eat anything then but all ok now.. still stressed
    about flight !!
