I have a bunch of henna powder and I know you add water to make a paste but I think you have to add some kind of oil too.... does anybody know what to do?

Ok well i was looking on websites, and basically they say that you add lemon juice and if you want it to stay longer, add some sugar or honey.However, I don't want to mess up your henna, so here's the site i was looking at:

I make a special liquid that I found online somwhere to add to my
henna. It's made from lime juice and tea and a bunch of other things.
Some people like to add eucaliptus oil so that might be the oil you're
thinking of.
Basically you just add the henna power to a little bit of whatever
liquid you are using and mix it until you get a paste like consistency.
You usually want to aim for something that is a little bit thinner than
tooth paste.

I haven't used henna in ages! You have reminded me how fun it is. Maybe I will re-explore the fun of henna this summer.
