Hi guys!
This doesn't necessarily focus on a stomach flu, or food poisoning or anything similar, however this feels just like one. I recently came down with that dreaded visitor every lady fears once a month - I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, gals. To be specific, yesterday morning. Normally I have no problem with it. Uncomfortable for a few days, and then all is well.
But! This one is exceedingly horrible. I need some help. >.< As everyone knows the side-affects of Mr. Monthly, has anyone been able to conquer them by home remedies?
I'm not a fan by popping pills, and already I take medication (Lexapro). I've been experiencing horrible cramps, and my nausea is just wretched. On and off this morning I've done nothing but sip water and pace. My grandparents are out doing errands and working so I'm all alone for most likely a few hours or more, which terrifies me to death. >.> I feel sluggish, and my stomach just feels knotted up and churning. I'm positive this is related to Mr. Monthly due to the fact I've felt fine until it started. I've had close calls and had to run to the bathroom, but was able to settle myself down.
Yesterday night, at around 2:30 AM I got jolted out rudely from my sleep. I was drenched in a hot sticky sweat, and felt as if I just got off a rollercoaster. I wasn't hungry at all, and I barely ate anything for dinner.I did snack on a few M&M's before bed which I regretted almost immediately when I woke up. Has anyone experienced hot flashes and stomach aches when on their period?I was able to fall asleep with very little comfort, and slept the entire night.
Again, hasanyone discovered or created home-remedies to help them through this? Tea, perhaps? Anything! I'm willing to do any suggestions. I hate feeling this way. I may pick me up some Midol when I get a chance. Please, if you know of anything that works to take away the nasty cramp or nausea feeling, leave a post! I'm open for anything! <3
Thank you!
