I seriously feel crazy a majority of the time. The second I hear that anyone is sick, I just about lose my mind.
I'm a pre school school teacher and over the last few weeks, I have seen teacher out left and right with fevers. Some with V, some without. I had a kid out yesterday for the "bug" and today an assistant comes in and tell me that she was sick 2 days before New Years. All I kept thinking was "Why in the hell are you standing near me?" I am also the mom of a 3 year old little boy who goes to school in the same place I work. I went in his classroom 2 days ago to pick him up and a little boy was *Ving mucus in the bathroom........ I could have died. This seasons SUCKS for getting sickMy history with this is so long, I started writing a blog, just to get it all out: http://tielamaris.blogspot.com/
My fear is so severe that I am leaving my job on the 18th, I just can't do it anymore.
I have a prescription of Zofran in my purse at all times. I drink grape juice and apple cider vinegar. I take probiotics. I wash my hands until they bleed AND I carry around hand sanitizer like it's my job. AND I take this new oral antiseptic that has come out from Halo that protects against airborne germs. I do everything I can to avoid getting sick.
Does anyone have any other tricks and tips? Or just ways to cope?
