Okay I have this friend named Ron and I've been friends with him for about a year now. A few months ago I told him that I was Emetophobic and he's been GREAT about it. I mean he tries to talk to me, he wants me to get rid of the phobia (Of course) because it affects us. I mean some days I won't even leave the apartment to come see him because I get scared I might V*. He always says that he has a toilet so if I need to get sick that's fine. Anyway today we went for a walk on the beach and afterward we got in his car. I told him I was dying of thirst and he offered to give me some of the fruit punch he had...it was in a can. I told him that I couldn't drink it if there wasn't an expiration date on it (That's just one of my MANY quirks) he looked at me funny for a moment but then he accepted it! I mean he just shrugged it off! He's SO good with me and my phobia. Like with my paranoia about how I won't eat at any place I haven't eaten at before. I mean we still go out to eat and stuff but I won't order anything and he's TOTALLY OKAY with that! I'm so glad I found a friend who doesn't think I'm totally insane for doing the things that I do. I just wanted to share my good news with everyone here...there is hope for finding someone who is understanding about your phobia! They are out there! Thank god for RON!

    aww lovely =D

i have a very similiar story which i was going to post up here too... i've recently met the most wonderful guy in Britain. He isnt emetophobic, jhas never had an anxiety disorder of any description, but he understands it so well. he doesnt even need to TRY, he just does. there really r some good'uns out there admist all the bad apples ... so if anybody reading this hasnt found one yet don't give up hope. they come around the corner just as ur not expecting them to and sweep u off ur feet.

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn\'t be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn\'t know that so it goes on flying anyway.
