I just wanted to let everyone know that my son is doing great now. He has had some diarrhea, but even that hasnt been too bad. It really hasnt been like watery or anything (sorry if this is too graphic) he has just been going frequently. I called our doc to let her know how he was doing, and she wants to see him again tomorrow and check his CBC again. The nurse that called me back said that he shouldnt be contagious anymore since he isnt running fever. I asked should I still be worried about my girls catching it and she said no, that they probally would have gotten it by now. I sure hope she is right.

Glad to hear he is doing better. Did they ever give you a diagnosis?

They diagnosis on the bill thingy (encounter as we used to call them when I worked there) was viral syndrome and nausea. So I reckon since she didnt find anything else wrong with him, that it really was the dreaded sv. Or gastritis. Edited by: jennyleigh1975

Hi Leigh....I am so glad your son is feeling better...as I am sure you are too now It's great to know it wasn't anything worse all thought I know sv is bad....but really not compared to what it could have been....that may have sounded strange to other emets...but I always try to look at it as though it really could have been worse....I am still praying for you all and I will talk to you soon....:0 Take care....and be safe....Kate
