Coworker from Hell

I need to get this off my chest. I am losing my mind. I am working on a project with a project manager who I swear is mentally challenged. He is two positions above me, but he doesn't know anything. He talks and talks and talks, but never says anything. I have told him like 5 times that he needs to do something and he just doesn't do it. He KNOWS EVERYTHING, but he knows mothing. I have such a great work ethic, that the lazy way he wants to do things is just freakin annoying. I sit here and clench my teeth and roll my eyes all day. I know it shouldn't matter because his name will be on the final project, but I just can't help it. I can see a better mor efficient way to do things. Why can't I be in charge??!!??

Anyway, I just needed to get that off my chest.

Sorry you're having a hard time at work. It irritates me too when people don't do their job the way they should. I think there are people like that at every job!

I know all about how you feel. I think this phobia is also closely linked to having to be in control! I know I certainly have to, anyway this kind of thing therefore really annoys us. I have no advice though-just keep up the good work-dont push yourself forwards and you will be noticed! [img]smileys/smilies_02.gif[/img]</TD></TR>

When I was at my last job as a temp it was terrible. People thought that they could just boss me around and get me to do what ever THEY wanted because I was a temp. I'm sorry that you have a hard time and I wish I had advice for you. The best thing I can think of to do is work and try to ignore him. That's what I would do.
