    Default Left probiotics out.

The brand of probiotics I use is refridgerate only. I accidentally left them on my kitchen counter overnight, and put them back in the fridge. I haven't taken them since then. I was wondering if they would still be safe to take? I know that some of the bacteria probably died, but I'd rather have something than nothing, but only if they're still safe to take.

If it says to put them in the fridge and you didn't overnight, I would throw them out. All the bacteria may have died making them worthless. However, I'm sure Jotoni will have a much better answer than I do.

They won't be harmful. And when I asked a pharmacist about refrigeration times once, I was told that they will be ok as long as they aren't left out for more than 24 hrs. Effectiveness wise I mean. I would still use them until I could get a replacement.
