Definitely a bad idea for me...it usually leads to a downward spiral resulting in a panic attack of a severe variety.

If I'm just reading an experience I'm cool. I'm a fan of horror stories, particularly Stephen King, and since he's a man of detail whenever there's a scene of sickness he tends to get to the nitty gritty of things; but it doesn't really bother me.

I can usually read about it and be ok.....sometimes I also think people tend to exaggerate, like OMG I was sick all night! or make it sound even worse than it is.

if i do think about it for too long though i start to have an anxiety attack
