Default This may seem a little odd but it helps

I have had Emet for as long as I can remember. I am now married and have one child and another on the way. I just admitted this to my husband last night. My husband is a firefighter/EMT. For some reason with my emet, i find that comforting. Maybe its because he is medically trained (the majority of calls that firefighters go on is medical)? I don't really know but everytime i find myself starting to freak out, I remind myself, I am safe, my husband would never let anything happen to me. He has seen the worst of the worst and he knows when something is serisously wrong and he will take precautions when he needs. When it comes to our babies as well I feel comforted. He seems to not be bothered by anything. I love that.

I told my wife of my emetephobia and she is very supportive. Its good because at least you can talk to someone about it rather than suffer alone in silence.

That is very true. My husband has known about this practically since the day we met. He is very supportive and wants to help me as much as possible. I love it.
