Exposure question.

So, today I was complaining to my mom about my chronic nausea, and she said, "Oh, I've got some Zofran at my house, come by and get it." So I went and got it and noticed that it was prescribed to my sister, who is a sv* magnet. It was prescribed on January 16th, so about a month ago. She just told me it was confirmed noro. Anyways, I took one of the Zofran, but then I started worrying. What if she reached her contaminated fingers in the bottle? Would the pills still be contaminated? I don't want to take them anymore if they have the virus on them, and I don't know if the virus could have died since it was in an airtight medicine bottle.

I don't think the virus lives quite that long. Also, your sister may not have used them. Since she gets a lot of sv, maybe it was just a precautionary prescription.

Girl, we have the exact same way of thinking. It sucks, I know. But I think since it was a month ago you should be fine. Right now I'm in freak out mode because I kissed a guy who had the sv up until days ago....ah

I just texted her and grilled her. She said she took some right out of the pill container. I just hope that it was long enough for the virus to die even though it was trapped in a small space. Ugh.

Haha, my cousin is currently in medical school and I am ALWAYS grilling her about health questions. I feel like I'm being so annoying but I don't care. Just today I was literally grilling her about my current situation and if I could catch sv from this guy who recently had it. ugh i hate this fucking phobia
