    Default Having Problems

Ok. So I had pain all over. Had some random blood tests done and my doctor referred me to a rheumetologist. So I saw him last Friday he diagnosed me with fybromyalgia. He prescribed me Nortriptyline and Flexeril. I already take Klonopin and Remeron. Ever since I started taking the new medication along with my current medication I feel horrible. I'm not in pain like I was but I feel like I've got cotton balls for brains. I can't think, I can barely function, my throat feels numb so my reflux has been acting up, plus I keep losing feeling in my hands and feet. My feet got so numb and cold earlier that they were purple. My hand fell asleep as I'm writing this. I looked up pill interactions and they all interact with each other. I don't know what to do. I feel horrible but I'm not in pain. But I'm not sure what's worse dealing with. The pain or side effects. I keep thinking I'm going to V because I can't really control my body because of the medications.

Just be sure to take any meds with food.. unless told not to! because that always seems to help And i reeeealllyy dont think youre supposed to be feeling numb anywhere. kinda sounds like some kind of adverse effect. U should tell your doc about everything youre experiencing and any other concerns. That dont seem normal at all! sorry you are having to go thru all this :/ i hope everything gets better for u soon!!

I always make sure I have something in there no matter what I take. But I think it's a problem with the medications mixing.

Plus I did something bad. I had a bad UTI and the doctor gave me antibiotic for it. After 3 days of misery I quit taking them which was a couple of days ago. Now I got pain again. I said forget it and took the antibiotic again but I fear it's not going to help because I stopped taking them.

Do both your doctors know about all your meds? I'm sure they can switch things up since they are giving you intolerable side-effects.

Please talk to your doctor about the antibiotics. You may need more of them to make up a full course to get rid of the UTI. I hope you feel better ASAP.

Today has been ok up until about an hour ago. I was fine watching the vampire diaries then all of a sudden I get hit with nausea then a horrible panic attack. I'm laying down and my stomach is doing crazy stuff. I think from the antibiotic which was why I quit taking it but back on it because I'm having pain again. I took it this morning on an empty stomach and did fine. I haven't been eating much because I'm so uncomfortable.

My doctors are well aware of my medications. But I think the pharmacy questioned me about the wrong one. I have kaiser so at every computer screen they have my record number at my whole medical history is in front of them not to mention the list of medications ever perscribed to me. When I checked out the pharmacist questioned me about celexa and not the remeron. I'm not on celexa. So I think that's where it got all messed up.

I hope I feel better soon too. I'm having a hard time right now. Plus I'm going out of town this weekend for a wedding. So I'm really nervous about that too. I can't handle things right now I'm such a mess.
