I just heard on the news that 75 boy scouts in a camp came down with Norwalk. Ugh!! I don't know any of them, but that means it is circulating around here. Now they will all go home, infect their families - and spread it all over. Yuck!

Wow! That's a lot of people. Where do you live? Did they say how they think it was spread?
\"This too shall pass\"
I gues 75 out of about 250 got it. They think it was spread by food - they had an outside food service come in to prepare food. Apparantly this happened last year at the same camp with the same food preparer as well. I live in Colorado. This happened southeast of Denver - about an hour to an hour and a half drive away from me.
You think they would learn the first time, and not get the same food cater. Well, I wouldn't worry, cause you didn't eat the food, and you have no contact with the scots. At least they know what started the outbreatk.
Most of the kids stayed at the camp, so i think that kind of contained it. One of them had to go to the hospital, and 17 went home because they weren't recovering too quickly. It's those that will probably spread it. I'm not that worred about catching it from them, but it means it is already out there lurking, you know?
