Any New Zealanders?

The title says it all! It's funny, I only realized that what we have was a legitimate condition. Of course I was aware of arachno, clausta and agorphobias but it never occured that there was an Emetaphobia, there was just me being, as my husband calls it, neurotic, until I hit rock bottom after some sad news in the family prompting me to desperately seek help. Discovering it was recognised as a phobia wad an enormous relief, and I'm hoping there are a few of us in this part of the world, are there any Kiwis here?

I'm not a Kiwi, I'm an Aussie, but I've been to NZ and I absolutely ADORE it there!! Love it almost as much as home

not kiwi, i'm also aussie i'm happy there are some kiwi's here! it occured to me the other day i hadn't heard of anyone from there badly want to visit haha

Skittles you should if you ever get the opportunity. for a country so close to us, it's so different there. Wonderful, and the kiwis I met there were so welcoming and lovely!

For me it has ALWAYS occured to me that there might be an emetophobia. There are phobias of the oddest things like garlic, opinions and dust. Being sick is a well-known thing, so it would have been quite likely that there's a name for a phobia of it. There are a LOT of phobias. By the way I'm from England, not New Zealand .

Aus rocks!, wow you guys have had it rough lately with weather and fires, it's time you got a break! Where in Aus are you guys from?

aus always has crazy weather, at any one time there could be raging bushfires in one state, a cyclone in another, and mass flooding in another! tends to all calm down a bit in the cooler months though

Haha, thanks Skittles! My town gets mildly threatened by bushfires every year, it's really scary, but it's settled down a lot now, which is a relief

oh wow that would get so scary! were you affected by 2009's black saturday? that was really scary.

all the rain last week helped to quench quite a few fires which was great!

we're smack in the middle of the suburbs, and 10 mins from the beach, so its never been an issue for us, but i feel for everyone who has to stay alert over summer :/

I would happily live in Aus. My husband wants to move there for work. You've a gorgeous country!
