The doctor jinxed me.

I know it's not true but I wanted to slap the Dr. today. I went for my normal checkup and he said he wanted to see me back in three months. This was followed by "unless you get a UTI, bronchitis, v*ing...". Really? You had to mention that one thing? Grrr....does anybody else get irrational like that?

Yes! When I was having daily panic attacks a few months ago and was missing my usual events, some friends were asking what was going on with me, where I was, etc. My friend told me to just tell them I had the stomach virus or something... REALLY?! I would NEVER do that... would feel like I was totally jinxing myself! Especially when the source of the panic attacks centers around v*!

I don't feel jinxed by doctors or other people (although I think I've just started!!!:/ if one of my children says the words v or d I growl at them for speaking toilet talk but it's really because it increases my heart rate immediately and I have the shakes for hours aftetwards.
