Deleting Threads

Does anyone know how to delete threads? I decided I want to move this to the private area, but I can't delete it.

Eh you have to ask an admin to delete them.

Also, I don't think the mods would mind if you just made another post with the same content in the private area. Edit the content of the one you want private to blank, and then it'll get pushed down and then forgotten about. Unless there've been a lot of replies, and you'd like to keep them or they reveal stuff you want in the private area, then you'd have to contact the mods (but they don't seem to be around all that much at the moment).

Usually you can delete them by going to edit post, delete, selecting delete message and then hitting delete post. I might be missing something though.

That's exactly what I tried to do, but the option wasn't there.

Hmmm... it works for me, and I've got no special status. I suppose you're not worried for it anymore?

Seriously don't worry it doesn't matter that much, I've totally forgotten what this original topic's underlying purpose was (apart from knowing how to delete threads). What I mean is I haven't got a thread needing deleting.
