    so, I had subway... mmmm.

I had a chicken bacon ranch and as I was eating it i noticed the chicken was a bit rubbery so I just kind of glanced at it and it didnt look pink so I kept eating.

about 2/3 of the way through my sub, I thought, maybe i should have another look at it, and i pulled a piece out that was REALLy rubbery and gross. It wasn't pink though.

Im kind of freaking a bit now cause i ate a bit of it, i ate the rest of the sub but tossed the chicken.

I'm guessing the chicken was okay anyways, but since I don't cook much, I really dont know how tell if chicken is undercooked, especially since Ive eatin pink turkey and chicken before ( with a normal chicken texture, I could tell it was cooked) and been fine, so what's the deal with chicken?

My sister used to work at Sbway and she swears everything is cooked all the way through. The chicken is actually shipped to them frozen (I think) so they pretty much just have to reheat it. It was probably just over microwaved or something. I doubt there was anything wrong with it. I'm sure you will be fine.

Yup, I was going to say it sounds over cooked or heated, especially if it is frozen. You'll be fine.

I guess you guys were right, I just seem to have a hard time with chicken, because I had the same thing there before and I have never felt so sick in my life. I still don't know if that was an unually horrible IBS attack, or if it was food posioning, but I get paraniod now.

    Thanks!

Glad you're feeling better about it. Also I wanted to say congratulations on gettign the same thing after having felt so sick after eating it last time. It'd be very easy for you to have avoided it but you didn't! That's great!
