    Default Happy or sad

When you're feeling down do you tend to listen to sad music or happy music?

Sad. I prefer isolation and depressing music because it makes me happy? Haha, weird, I know.

jadeshine, me, too! I get kind of pissed when I hear light, upbeat lyrics when I'm feeling down. I think I like the sad, depressing music best when I'm in a funk, because it "gets me?" Like I feel comfort from being understood?

My latest is "Breathe Me" by Sia-- finally downloaded the piano music and am trying to learn it.

Breathe Me is a good one! It was one of my favorites when going through a breakup.

Sad. I like feeling like the angsty emo teen I've always been at heart lawl. In all seriousness, I just like feeling the lyrics...if that makes sense. Sometimes I will pop a 'feel good' song on. It helps.
I wanna feel the change consume me,
    Feel the outside turning in.
I wanna feel the metamorphosis and
    Cleansing I've endured within
    My shadow

Sooop glad you all feel that too! My mum used to/still does get reaally annoyed with it because she thought I was trying to be sadder but I just felt comforted that the singer had obviously felt it, and come through it because s/he sung it!
