OK, i thought i was the only person with emets (HAHAHA seems daft) til I saw your site. I spent two years of college pretty seriously afflicted by this. As I got worse and worse I decided that if I was ever gonna get on a bus again (dont ask) I needed to get rid of the anxiety surrounding situations where I felt the worst. Thats when I found something which has revoulotionised the way live altogether (dont laugh): meditation. I don't use it to reach my "inner self", it just helps me keep calm.

Heres a page I found helpful when I started, Its got a lot of information:

    www.thiaoouba.com/medit.htm

The "mantra" methodmentioned has helped me calm myself before situations where I would have previously let my emets take over. Its great when your getting freaked out.It really helped me take control. Also, if your feeling pissed off cos no one understands, meditating helpsyou wind down safely. If anyone gives you grief about emets by theway, give em hellhehe, only joking. Ah, they dont understand, most people.

Please gimme replys if you tried it and it worked, it was just a long shot when I was getting desperate that worked. Fear is a state of mind, you've just gotta know how to handle it.
