<DIV>The othernight my love Ian, who was Kieffer Sutherland's stand-in for the movie "The Sentinal", took me to a wrap party at a cozy Toronto pub/cafe called 'C'est What?'. The crew has wrapped up filming in Toronto, and Micheal Douglas paid for the wrap party! </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I was very worried that I might have an anxiety attack, infront of all these people, especially famous actors. What could be worse than getting sick in front of Hollywood stars!!!! Aaaahhh!!!! I took one Gravol and put it in my purse, just in case, than worked really hard on my breathing in the car on the way down. Ian helped to keep me distracted by talking about what certain crew member's jobs were on set and the like. Once we got to the bar and sat down, I asked where the washrooms were, lol, just in case. After gaining that knowledge, I began to relax, did a little more deep breathing, and told myself over and over that I was fine, things were fine, and I would be okay. My fear tried to overwhelm me, but I fought it off. Ian struck up more conversation with me. By th time I was completely relaxed, the man of the hour walked in, Kiefer Sutherland! </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Ian introduced me to Keifer Sutherland. I gained so much respect for this actor simply from his firm handshake an overall demeanor. His handshak wasn't loose, nor was it 'fake'. He was geniunley interested in meeting me. </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>He looked very tired and drained, as Ian told me that Keifer hasn't had a vacation for a long time, and you could tell by looking in his eyes. I found out that Kiefer is a very pleasent person to be in the same room with, let alone meet. </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>While introducing me, Ian told Keifer that I was a huge fan. Kiefer gave me a warm smile, and looked right in my eyes. Not a lot of people do that, they tend to gaze away. This is when I knewKieffer was real and not superficial. </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I blurted out "You scared the hell out of me in your film The Lost Boys". </DIV>
<DIV>"Well, that's what I was paid to do...." he laughed. </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Aside from having Ian at my side, and Kiefer Sutherland smoking a cigarette with us (he grabbed Ian's lighter, as Kiefer is apparently notorious for loosing his lighters)I listened as Kiefer praised Ian for performing so well, and "Doing a fantastic job." I became emotional at that moment, and swelled with so much pride for Ian that I almost cried. We both heard it from Kiefer himself. </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Michael Douglas and his wife, Katherine-Zeta Jones were there too, having a few drinks and chatting away with other actors and members of the Sentinal's Toronto crew. Ian introduced me to the Director, the Director of Photography (whom Ian says is the real big bossof the film, lol) and other important crew members. </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>So yes, I can say that Michael Douglas bought me two drinks! It was a fantastic experience for me, and for Ian as well. And I have gained so much respect for Kiefer, just from his handshake. I met the person behind all the characters he has played, and have realized that Kiefer is human too, just like me. </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>And I never needed that stupid gravol. </DIV>
