Default Another way to avoid catching SVs

I just caught up with an old friend who is a germaphobe and has all sorts of great tricks each time we catch up. She said to always keep Dettol (or similar) airosol in your home and when someone in your house V, immediately spray the area with the dettol. The idea behind it is not that it kills the virus, but rather it immediately 'drags' most of the virus particles to the ground. Vacuum the area and you've less likelihood of surfaces getting contaminated, and less distance too. Of course you'd still need to bleach etc but ultimately, hopefully there is less likelihood of others catching it also.

Is Dettol the same as Lysol?

We don't get Lysol here, just Oust and Dettol but I wish we did!. It BaSed oesn't really matter as long as it's a disinfecting aerosol. I think because it is tiny little droplets that pull the v particles to the ground preventing them from spreading wide and also prrventing inhalation.
