    Default Fabric-fabric transfer?

    Hi all...

Was wondering if you could do a fabric-fabric transfer of NV, if this is at all possible?

My gut instinct would be to say yes. Dr. Oz did a segment on germ transfer with some kind of powder. I would think it wld be less likely to catch something that way though since fabric isn't usually touching ur face. I am not a doctor though so not sure. If we go to the Doctor, I have my kids change clothes just to be safe.

I'm wondering this too. One time at work, my coworker told me she had the SV on monday and tuesday (it was saturday). I came back to the break room to leave after my shift and her coat was hung RIGHT next to mine smushed against it.. so I freaked out. I've always thought yes, but I'm hoping the answer is no!

I just posted a thread wondering the same thing, like transfer from shoes to carpet to clothes to hands...seems like a bit of a long shot but I still think it may be possible, the only good thing is that likely the more transfer steps there are, the less the likelihood because less particles get transferred every time so I'm hoping it would get 'diluted' to a non-contagious level...but this is just my speculating, of course.
The scary thing about noro tho from I've read before is that unlike other viruses like cold and flu, it can actually survive on fabrics for a looong time. While the cold virus survives about 8 hours on hard surfaces but only a few minutes on porous surface like fabric, I think they found noro particles still surviving on carpet like 14 days later D:

    Yes, I second the Lysol!!

Also, while I am no scientist, I view the two weeks on fabric like this: noro CAN potentially remain on fabric for two weeks....under lab conditions. I imagine that under normal conditions (like when your fabric is getting exposed to foot traffic, vacuuming, etc) it could be far less than two weeks. At least this is what I tell myself to stay sane
