I will be a MRS! I get married a week today and just had to post to help me believe it. After being together 4 1/2 years and engaged for 4 we are finally going to make it official. I am so excited but nervous about the day. My main concern is people drinking too much, especially Marks friends. With the package we are having during the day guests get a welcome drink, 1/2 bottle of wine and a glass of champagne but not many of his friends are coming to the day as we only wantd a small ceremony. Hopefully the bar prices will put them off etting plastered but its still worrying me a bit.
Today is the tomorrow I dreaded yesterday and I\'m ok.

    congratulations!!!

if your guests get plastered and ruin the day for you that's a bit mean of them =| so i hope that doesn't happen.

enjoy your day -- it will be perfect i'm sure.

    Thankyou all very much.

I am also worried because this time last year we bought our first home and 3 weeks after we moved in I had a really bad stomach bug. Everyone said I caught it because I must have got run down rushing around and because i was constantly worrying. I am just so scared that I will run myself down over the wedding and end up catching a bug but I know thinking like this is just adding to the problem. I am constanly tired and my mind is always active at the moment. I just can't let go. Anyway thanks again.

    Congratulations!!!!

I have to tell my wedding story and maybe make you feel a bit better about the drinking... at my wedding, we paid to have an open bar, free drinks for everyone all night. You can imagine alot of people took advantage. No one got sick. With the food, dancing and everything, most people won't drink too much, no one wants to be the fool who drank too much and ruined the reception with their drunken antics.

I hope you have a beautiful day!!

    Congratulations!

I'm sure you will be in such a whirl of excitement on your big day you won't even notice if anyone does get ill, which probably won't happen anyway.

If you are worried about picking up viruses because of being stressed out with rushing around and worrying, try taking in extra vitamins to boost your immune system - start eating more fruit such as kiwis, they contain one day's vitamin c's worth. Maybe you could start the day off with a smoothie of mixed fruit - I've recently started buying 'Innocent' mixed fruit smoothie, which is purely fruit and no additives and tastes delicious.

I'm sure your Wedding Day will be fab and you'll have an absolute ball!
