    Default Freaking out at work right now, please respond ASAP

    I'm at work and my coworker just casually told me she's recovering from food poisoning. She ate a salad at 10pm and woke up v*ing at midnight & thinks it was food poisoning. She v*d for 4 hours an now she's "just tired" ... Was it really FP or could it be a SV??? Please help! I'm scared

    No way of telling really... but as long as you keep washing your hands and not touching your face you should be alright. I don't what kind of setting you work in... do you work closely with her? Seeing as how you were not in the area where she was actually v*ing and I imagine she washed up before work I think you are most likely just fine.

    I work at a library so I'm sitting at a desk about 7 feet away from her...

    The 'great' thing about noro, if there is anything, is that it's ONLY passed through vomit or feces. Sitting next to her, breathing the same air, using the same phone, and talking to her will not transmit it. Really the only way you could is if you touch your eyes, nose, or mouth after touching something she touched without washing her hands after vomiting or Using the restroom. For the rest of the day just refrain from touching your face, wash your hands before you eat anything, and wash your hands when you leave work and you will be fine. I know how stressful it is!
