I want to post my traumatic experience...are we allowed to be graphic? Because I know some people here are scared to even say vomit or nauseous...
Like by graphic, I'm going to go into detail

It's odd, I've never been afraid of vomit as a kid...every year in school, at least 1-2 kids would puke per class. In grade 2, this chick Amber stood up and puked while the teacher read a story. In grade 3, my friend Matthew puked and as he walked by, left drips of it while he walked the sink with the principal. In grade 4, this girl Rita puked IN THE DOORWAY so everyone had to jump over it when they were leaving, it was like liquified vomit.
But it was odd, at those times, I never cared...it was just a meh
But the trauma started in Grade 5, we were sitting crosslegged listening to the teacher's plans for a Christmas Play when this guy says, COOL and you didn't even make a noise ...Then this guy Victor pokes me and says, you better move...I turn around and O M G...this chick Linda was like drooling this orange goo with vegetable chunks in it. God...it was so quiet to and so gooey. Then the teacher gave her a bucket. For the restof the year, I never saw in that spot and always jumped over it. Eventually this green mould started growing there. Ughhh
Sorry if it was REALLY gross but it felt good to get it out as writing...You all must be like freak who remembers every single detail
I remember that night I went home and just sat there and stared at a chandelier for who knows how many hours. The images kept replaying in my mind, it was like torture, I had no appetite, I was grossed out...nothing that bad has happened in the 6 years after that. And I hope to keep it that wayEdited by: canucchink
I totally understand how it helps to share these stories that have been playing over and over in our heads. I also think it's therapeutic for us to be able to be graphic about them when we talk about them. I am wondering what else might have been going on in your life around that time. I really do believe that this phobia comes along with some kind of other deep issue that we have a hard time facing. I am really sorry that this happened to you and that you now have that image ingrained in your memory. I know how much that sucks.
I cannot believe green mold grew from her puke stain! YUK! Crazy stuff![]()

Now that, my dear friends, is a warning.

Now that last story, Sarah Louise, has certainly put me off lunch, lol!
Canucchink, don't think you are any different in remembering every detail of the vomit scenes you have witnessed, I for one, remember every single episode since being a child of seing classmates or other people vomit, and often my mind tortures me by replaying them over and over.
It's amazing how much it helps though to get these things off your chest and talk about it. That's the great thing about this group.

Yeah I can remember just about everytime I've seen someone Vomit...or just seen Vomit by itself somewhere. I remember going to a county fair and going into one of the bathrooms and in the toilet and on the seat there was vomit it was all big and chunky. When you have a phobia like this it's easy to remember all the times you've seen, heard, and been around someone who has vomited.

Yes! I could totally graphically explain each and every time I have seen it, or done it. It's like we have photographic memory when it comes to vomit. But, I can't even remember things like... take food to work, where I put my keys or to mail the bills! What's up with that?!! haha!

lol, great gory details! I too can unfortunately remember every little detail of everyone I've seen puke at some time in my life, and remembering the actual puke itself is the worst part! You start thinking "Good god, I hope nothing that looks like that ever comes out of MY mouth!"
I just does NOT bear thinking about! Yukk!
...so glad to have met you all! Its great to be able to finally talk about all this!
Thanks sarah2 hehe i have many graphical sik stories hence the big problem of emetx
