My wedding pics

I got married yesterday!!! Wwe had a fantastic day and were very lucky with the weather. We had a few mishaps but it was still very special. Here is a few of the pictures my Mum took (We get the proper photos and videos in 2 weeks and I can't wait)

thank you all so much. I keep looking at the pictures (at 4.00am when I STILL haven't been to sleep because I all these memories are buzzing round my head) and thinking 'OH MY GOD, that's us, it really happened'. It was like a whirlwind. To be honest it wasn't like I thought it wasn't going to be and I felt really self concious at times. Quite a few things went wrong (the strap on my dress broke just before I signed the register, Mark held out the wrong hand so I put the ring on the wrong one, his Dad collapsed because he is diabetic and hadn't eaten properly - very scary, especially as he had a heart transplantt last year and my Mum set her hat on fire!) but looking back now none of it matters because Mark is my husband and we are so lucky to have what we have got. All our friends and family were lovely and so generous. I don't have much confidence but people were really complimentry about us and it made me feel like I musn't be an ok person after all! Thanks again

I love your dress! I'm sorry the strap broke! I ripped the lace off the bottom of mine at my wedding! It sounds like you had a great time despite the "mishaps." I thinks all of the things that went wrong give it personality down the road. What would be there to talk about 5 years later if everything went perfectly? I think one of the worst things I ever heard happen to someone at their wedding was my mother in law. When she married her 2nd husband the priest actually talked about her first husband and how horrible their marriage was during the ceremony! Talk about inappropriate! To get off my tangent - your pictures look gorgeous and it is very obvious how happy your are. Congratulations!!

At my uncle's wedding, the priest actually called him the wrong name! His name is Alan and he said "Do you, Steve, take this woman...etc..." He said, "I do, but my name's not Steve!!"

Lol I agree those things make for good stories later on! At my wedding we forgot to bring the bonquet(sp?)! The pastor's wife helped me make one using the flowers in back of the church yard! Lol!
