I woke up at 3a.m. with a terrible headache. I at first thought it was sinus. I had a tylenol and used my ice pack but it did not get better. AndI started feeling a little sick to my stomach. I tried to sleep it off thinking mabey migraine. I got up at 7 and had another tylenol and crackers. I'm kinda hungary now but afraid to eat-I'm hearing about stomach stuff but have been thinking weather related. I hope I did'nt catch anything. I'm not really nauseous but my head is making my stomach hurt. Should I be worried orwas it mabey just a migraine with no aura?Donna

    Hey Donna,

Sounds like it could be a migraine, do you get these sometimes? Maybe just eat real light things like crackers and such, and try and lay down in a quiet dark room until it passes some. To me it just sounds like a migraine.

I think it's the headache/migrane. W/ regular run of the mill headaches if they are bad enough I feel sick sometimes. I agree that just taking it easy, eating light, especially if your'e hungry since hunger can make a headache worse. Try to sip on water as much as you can too, if it's been especially hot you may just need more fluids than you have been getting. I hope you feel better soon! Oh don't laugh at me but i read an article by a doctor a while back who mentioned a way that worked on many of his patients to get rid of a headache and I've done it and it's worked! You take a banana peel(s) and put one section of the peel across your forehead (the inside part that touches the part of banana you eat agains your skin) and do the same to the back of your neck. Keep it on (preferably while lying down or sitting) for about half an hour. I don't know if it's psychologically works or if it really physically works but it has for me! good luck!
