I have just learnt a horrible lesson and unfortunetely have no one to blame but myself.

I quit smoking two weeks ago and was using nicotine patches for the
first few days but then chose to come off them and go the will power
route, long story short i have had a really stressful day and really
wanted a cigerette but rather than give in i put on a patch.

I started feeling really nauseas after about 30 mins and took it off,
but the nicotine is obviously already in my system as i feel
unbelievably nauseas, and i am really annoyed and upset as a friend
just moved in and we were going to have a nice meal and cocktails to
celebrate but now i am sitting here having a panic attack about how
sick i feel and worrying that i am going to V* and im really worried
about telling her that i have ruined our evening.

There is an upside, if this is how sick nicotine now makes me feel i am never going near cigerettes again.

Sorry to rant, im just really feeling upset and ill.

at least you are still fighting against the nicotine craving. so many people cannot overcome the bad habit of smoking (hence why im not even going to try it lol). so you should defenitely feel positive that you have got through it!

i hope u feel better soon. i'm sure you will be back to ur old self by tomorrow.

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn\'t be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn\'t know that so it goes on flying anyway.

Im feeling a bit better today, and am happy to report that it eased off
enough last night to be able to enjoy dinner so that was good, but god
i felt ill for a while there, it really has seriously stopped any
cravings though so thats good.

Jen, thanks for the support, to be honest i only gave up smoking as my
Doctor said it was the last thing to try before invasive tests to try
and find out why im constantly nauseas, i really didnt want to, and had
every intention of starting again, i really am going to miss it, which
i realise sounds odd but its true. Oh well at least ill be saving
some money!
