Thread: Watery Mouth

    Default Watery Mouth

So last night I had a horrible anxiety attack over some personal issues... anyways it resulted in a very dry mouth when I went to bed. However, I woke up this morning with a watery mouth- more watery than usual. I cannot get the idea out of my head that watery mouth means throwing up. I know some people experience this symptom right before they are going to puke. However, I have had this going on for 8 hours now. I was able to eat some hash browns for breakfast, and only a few slices of cheese for lunch. I'm afraid of V* so bad because of this. Everyone thinks I'm over thinking it which is making it more watery. What could it be? My stomach does not hurt nor do I really feel bad n*....I just keep swallowing every 10-15 seconds because I feel my tongue filling up with water. LOL so stupid! I hate anxiety...

I don't think it means you will throw up! I think that's only true if you also have stomach pain, nausea, and/or a feverish feeling as well.

I hope not... I am probably hungry too... I just had a small piece of pizza... doesn't seem AS watery. However, when I start to focus on it, it gets really bad. Ugh

Anxiety will only make it worse! You should eat some foods that are easy on the stomach like rice, banana, applesauce, toast, etc..
Also maybe watch a movie or something to take your mind off it - thats what I usually do

Mine waters bad when I'm about to throw up. Like I have to swallow every 2-3 seconds! Yours could be watering for a number of reasons! Wisdom teeth coming through, allergies, a craving. I think you should be fine. Hope all is well!

See I don't really think I am going to V* because it comes and goes and I managed to eat a meal tonight... Cheese Ravioli with bread and butter... then some chicken... seems when I start to focus on it again it gets really bad... pretty watery again... getting nervous.. Plus it's been like this since 8:00am.. .think if I was going to V* it would have happened by now. I'm having bad anxiety due to some family issues so that might be part of it too

Yeah when it's connected with v* it's like RIGHT before it happens, like you're already running to the bathroom.
It probably is anxiety related, how're you doing now?
