    Default My triumph last weekend!

So last Friday was the senior prom at my high school and I went!!!! I had an AMAZING time dancing and hanging out with all of my friends.
Where I live it is customary to go to the beach or as we call it here in New Jersey "down the shore" after prom for the weekend. I planned to go with four of my friends and I was STRESSING so much beforehand as I kept thinking "oh god I'm going away for three days, no adults what if I have anxiety what if I v*"
Well I went anyway and had the most amazing weekend of my life!!!! I barely felt anxious the ENTIRE time!!!!

That is so great!! Way to go!! The kids at my school would go to the beach after prom but I was too scared I would have an attack. I regret not going. So you keep trying to push through and enjoy school as much as you can. I'm proud of you!!

Awwww thank you so much everyone!!!!
I'm really glad I did it despite being anxious about it! The best thing for me was to just not think about getting sick as much as I could. I just realized there was a chance it could happen but I'd just have to deal with the situation if it was to arise, and in the end of course nothing happened! Thank you so much everybody!

Congratulations ! that is such an amazing milestone. one step closer to beating it

Im 19 from Australia and had the exact same experience at my 'prom' equivalent in my last year of school in 2012. I went away for the weekend camping with 4 friends and i was absolutely fine... very stressed at times but fine
