Default Doing your own exposure with watching v* yt vids?

I really think this helps me and this is the point of curing emet isnt it to expose ourselves?
dont some therapists work on exposure stuff?
think i should try some not graphic yt vids, i cope fine with no anxiety on some those.

    **graphic**

I do fine watching those milk challenge ones and stuff like ,cinnamon challenge etc.
Also...has anyone cured their own emet by making themselves v*? I know this isnt reccomended but what if you feel able to?

I do, and I force myself to laugh at them. Positive reinforcement perhaps? Then after a couple of watches, I really do find them funny. Having watched videos like that I think now I could be a little more relaxed if someone around me v*ed, so I do think it helps.
Just don't watch the really graphic ones. xD

Some people have and some have not been cured by inducing vomiting. You can read their stories at http://emetophobia.byethost15.com

I used to not be able to watch movies that had even the suggestion of v in them. I wouldn't even watch them, let alone buy one and watch it several times. Then Doc Hollywood came out and I loved it. So I would just fast forward through that part. Now, I can watch v in movies without even flinching and even watch the movie and the v several times without fast forwarding. I don't find watching video v very helpful, because I know it's not real. I can't smell it. It's on the safety of tv or the computer. It's not there in person. In person, v is much more troubling for me. I still won't watch a food eating contest where there is sure to be v. But then again, I think competing to see how much pie or how many whole hot dogs a person can swallow is gross by itself.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; But of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2Timothy. 1:7)
