well i said this on a different forum in a reply to some one seriously try pacing up and down when you feel sick. The worst thing to do in my opinion is lie down cause you look up and the room seems to spin and your mind is goin over and over "sick sick " and thoughts of food at the most worst time ever! I Mean why do i always think of yummy chocolate cake when i feel sick and dont want to be thinking about it?! LoL
Anyway, back to my point KEEP YOURSELF BUSY!
When eva i feel sick i either:
1) do a crossword 2) play on a game PS2 or something 3) Read a mag 4) do some sewing 5) take a walk in the garden or do some gardening 6) Do some drawing to realise all this thoughts of sickness
Anyything to keep you occupied so you dont think of being sick and after 20-30 mins it passes over for me and im ok again. I swear by pacing up and down and breathing slowly and deeply its a life saver when i feel ill.
PACING is the way forward and KEEPING BUSY try it it costs nothing and you can do it anywhere in bed at home when your out ect.. When im out at a restaurant and i feel sick all of a sudden i concetrate on the convo im having with who ever im with or play with a napkin and it works!
