    Cool Two triumphs

First triumph is that I got my final university degree last Friday. I got a 2:1! (my final mark was 65%). This is awesome because I didn't think I would get a 2:1 after starting the year on a 2:2 overall, and also because I dropped out of my first attempt at university in 2007 because my emet got so bad. So glad that I made it! It was a long four years and there were tough times but I stuck it out.

Second triumph is that I spent the weekend camping at Download festival (rock/metal festival in England). This involved being around loads of (mostly drunk!) people, using yucky portaloos, eating food from food stands etc. Well, I did it, I survived, and the amazing thing is that I didn't feel remotely anxious once! I even saw a guy v* on Saturday morning in the campsite and I didn't freak out (poor guy, he was hungover and attempted to eat food which didn't work out so well for him - he was joking around afterwards! Wish I could be that cool about it!). I think I didn't freak because I knew it wasn't contagious... Oh yeah, and I met my favourite band ever in the signing tent and then watched them on the main stage on Sunday

So yes, those were my triumphs. Emet can't hold me back!

Was this your first time going then? Glad that you enjoyed it! I was a bit skeptical about going as I went last year and the weather was SO bad (rained constantly and turned EVERYWHERE into a mud pit) that it was just miserable and I bailed after the headliners on the Friday, so was worried that it would be the same this year, but it wasn't, the weather held out for the most part and it was awesome! Was so glad that I went! Had an amazing time! Were you there for the full 5 days?

Glad you had an amazing time too Yeah, it was my first time. I only went for the three days, from Friday onwards. I heard it was bad last year and was a bit worried when I arrived and heard that parts of Yellow camp had flooded, but me and the hubby ended up in Orange camp ... far away from everything but it was quiet and had grass and very little mud! I only really wanted to go to see Rammstein but my husband is a massive Iron Maiden fan and some of his friends and family came over from Norway for the festival, so it turned out to be an awesome weekend

First of many times? :P Oh, last year was inexplicable, this year was absolutely fine in comparison. Some of my boyfriend's mates camped in yellow camp and one said that he had a river flowing through his tent which can't have been nice. Glad that your campsite was ok though! Have you seen Rammstein before? This was my first time seeing them and I was a little shocked and suprised to say the least! Lol! Especially the errrm "finale". They were brilliant though, great way to end the weekend. Coming over from Norway, now that is dedication to rock/metal music. \m/

I would definitely go to Download again! I would probably take a bigger tent though and my own food/cooking stuff because festival prices are extortionate Yes I have seen Rammstein before, quite a few times, I love them haha they do put on a good show, I can see why some bits would raise some eyebrows though! Especially the finale :P

I actually met my husband at Sonsiphere here in the UK when he came over from Norway with his friends! Rammstein and Iron Maiden headlined that festival too. Everything is really cheap here compared to Norway and it's a nice holiday for them with good music
