    Default Hypnotherapy

    Hi,

I'm pretty new to this site & I love it. The discussions, support & feedback are amazing.

I'm considering trying hypnotherapy to overcome my emet & was wondering if anyone had tried this? I'm not sure how hypnotherapy works exactly, so I'm a bit sceptical, but I'll give it a go! My first appointment is on Saturday

I am also looking on having hypnotherapy. I have had counselling twice and feel that it helped me at the time but the anxiety and panic attacks have come back. I would love to hear other peoples stories/opinions on hypnotherapy.

There are a few people on here who have been helped immensely by hypno. Personally, I wasn't one of them. I tried it, it helped for about 3 days after an appointment, and then I'd go back to being as bad as I was before. Try it though, it works differently for everyone Feel free to ask any more specific questions

There are many different types of hypnotherapy. I tried it twice, the first time was a waste of money. The guy was found out to be a fraud. The second time was far better, it was a mixture of hypnotherapy and various cognitive exercises. Always worth giving it a go if you can afford it.

You should do a search on the forums for hypnotherapy, it's a question that's asked pretty frequently so there are tons of answers all over the place

For me personally it turned my life around. I'm so glad I tried it.
